  • A couple questions. Is all the gold that comes out of the ground .9999? Also where do you sell your gold? Or do you sell your gold? Thanks. And great video.

  • @novalife818 - rarely do I find gold that is pure (meaning 24K). Not sure exactly what the average for me is, but I'm more near the 20K to 22K from what I find around the NC area. I've only sold a couple pieces of the larger stuff that I've found. I'm continuing to stock pile, but I really don't prospect for the money - more for the fun. :-)

  • when is the next video?

  • @The1122007 - The next video will be in the coming weeks. Been a hot summer and I'm waiting for cooler weather, plus less snakes. Watch for one by late September.

  • I went to thermal city and they hate people from the north number one. I panned the river that runs trough the property. I found just two small flakes. You would have to dig about 4 to 12 feet to bedrock because the train that runs past all day long vibrates the gold down far. I also had dirt brought from their open mine pit. I found a little picker and some flakes. They are prospecting a new out to dig. Good because the one that's open now sucks.

  • @crackerB7 - Yea, Thermal City is getting to be a pretty hard place to work. Even the 'bought' dirt is real thin these days. For the last several months I've been hitting the open country. Hard to reach places have been proving well for me. I’ve been doing a lot of kayaking up creeks and rivers to find places.
