I have heard many covers of this wonderful song. I have heard Paul sing this live -many, many times in concert in NY, but, man does Tom make this his own. His is the ONLY cover that matches note for note with Paul's. Also remember that Paul wrote this at the age of 24 or so and Tom sing this with an experience of a much older and wiser person. Even Paul sings it differently now. Thank you Paul for writing a beautiful piece of music that can then be sung by a great singer.

Listening to this, I can just hear Simon or Randy on American Idol saying "now that's the way it's done! Taking a song and completely making it your own!" TJ is for me, probably the most all around gifted male pop singer of the 20th (and 21st) centuries.
