  • Modern computers do not use OLED back lit displays. They use regular LEDs. An OLED screen is one where the actual screen itself is luminescent. An OLED screen is not an LCD screen, two completely different things.

  • I was talking about modern laptops, which use LEDs. Modern, does not mean budget laptop, I mean modern tech. I was referring toward the end where he says modern computers use OLED for back lighting, which isn't true because OLED isn't a back light.

  • I have this old hp compaq nx9500 p4 laptop that has 2 parallel ports- it's a 19 inch laptop- I guess they couldn't think of anything else to put on it.

  • in 00:18 he say's 'gesundheit' ?! ^^

  • It's the opposite: The North Bridge links together the CPU, GPU, RAM and South Bridge. It is the larger chip that has a heat sink On some computers, the North Bridge also integrates the GPU.

The South Bridge is the smaller chip that takes care of all the remaining... (BIOS, PCI bus, USB, Real-time clock, S-ATA, IDE (hard disk and CD/DVD drive), floppy, serial and parallel ports.

  • Save that CCFL bulb that's in the backlight and also the inverter for it. those are fun to make cool lighting out of.

  • DAMN I forgot to follow along! BUUUT, I beat you to destroying yours! HA!

  • Cool, I have one that's almost as old as that one being used by an 8 year old right now. BTW, your diode bridge is wrong.

  • Now you put it back together.

  • true

  • modern day laptops have windows 7 with LED screen and at least 2.4 GHz

  • Hi, here are some ideas for next autopsy sessions: big bulky laser printer or copy machine, broadcast camera and equipment, and of course any kind of special stuff that-is-not-available-at-your-local-retailer as electron microscope, mass spectrograph, machine tools, expandable airdrop sonobuoy, and more... By the way what are you willing to do with the enormous tv transmitter ? geekgroup tv ?
