Don't know if this one got much if any airplay in Australia. I certainly don't remember it and I listened to my tranny a lot back then. And what a great comfort it was too!
She was doing mostly back vocals at the time in London un der the name Nanette Newman,or Workman. She sang on the Let it Bleed album,on Country Honk.
She sang in Johnny Hallyday's band for a while too, then she came back to Quebec where she had a smash hit with a cover of Lady Marmalade, and spent some years as a disco/funk singer in the 70s.

I remember seeing her in the Peter Cook and Dudley More show on TV in the 1970s in the U.K and bought her LP album Nanette that I still have.
