ASA: Late Thrombolytic Therapy Does Not Reduce Infarct Size

NEW ORLEANS -- Thrombolytic therapy given three to six hours after symptom onset -- beyond the approved therapeutic window -- did not limit infarct growth in patients who theoretically might benefit from late reperfusion, investigators reported here.
