It's been about half an hour since I filmed this, and the poor house has already fallen into deep disrepair. My boyfriend went straight for the toasted marshmallow Jelly Bellys.

I really need to put this out of reach, more for my own sake than for Sam's.

Because I am such a perfectionist nitpicker (with respect to others' gingerbread houses), I ask: It is hollow, isn't it? You said it was solid gingerbread, but that would really be a lot of gingerbread, wouldn't it? Or not?

Nope, it really is solid gingerbread. It was baked in a house-shaped mold, instead of in sheets.

It's smallish, as gingerbread houses go. Most hollow houses I've seen are about twice the linear dimensions of this one.

Yeah, don't eat the yellow snow. Albino koala bears, may they become a new Christmas tradition. And he's a good boy, but he is so gonna eat that if he gets half a chance.
