@TidyCymru69 Why would it be just because he is welsh? I have no problem with Wales. Stepping is stepping, it doesnt matter what code they play.

@ShaNz194 Many professional rugby teams use league defensive coaches so they must be alright. Robinson was decent at league, he never dominated. Marshall is touted as the best in the world. This is an argument about stepping, not about the players over all ability. (which marshall is still better than both of them) Those players i named are much better steppers.

@MrOaet113 u were damn right ;)

@UHtiger I'm not Welsh but Shane WIlliams is my favourite player and imo he's much better than those guys you've mentioned especially Benji Marshall,who is highly rated in Rugby League.Shane Williams and Jason Robinson are better,Robinson dominated in both codes,I bet Shane could do the same,League players tend to always look for shoulder charges instead of proper tackles,they are poor at defence and Shane could punish them for that.Let's see Benji play Union then we can compare him to Shane.

@UHtiger Ryder is a 7's legend and isnt marshall league? Fairplay to marshall but its a different code, and in 7's you have WAY more space you cant really compare it to league or union( so long as you are fast you will score). What I can tell you though, is SW has the highest strike rate of any recent international, and was IRB POTY 2008, and that was in VERY average Welsh teams and all through sidestepping. is just because he is Welsh they are better?

No Shane Williams? Probably the best sidestep in the world in his prime!
