Nice car. Now I wait for nano-technology to get to Lithium Ion batteries so we can get triple the electric range.

@13thBaktun 1.50 X 30 is 45 bucks, and thats if you emptied the battery every single day. My electricity is cheaper more like a 1.15 a day, again from a dead battery. Usually I'm at 50% when I plug in for the night.. sooo... 50-75 cents a day?

@firebourn probably because of all the back lash they got for it. Also, they might have learned to expand their product line to sell more cars.

@Wonderbread1023 I'm getting around 200mpg average.
-
@13thBaktun $50... i spend 30 dollars a week on gas, so that's $120 a month, so i'd be saving $70 if i had me some chevy volt!

@firebourn American car companies doesn't back oil, the oil companies make sure of that... Also we don't need that stinkin' foreign oil. No thanks Arabia, which will run out of oil in 2012...

Fail. As always with ever single video about the volt, more focus is on the music, the driver, or the cinematographer. Shut the hell up, turn off the stupid jingles, and film the damn car and its sounds or claims lack there of. A clip > 15 mph would not hurt also.
its a hybrid you fools. Full tank and charge will get you close to 400 miles. With normal driving its the equivalent of 72 MPG taking into consideration the electrical energy used. Only using electricity you get the equivalent of 105mpg based on the calculation that a gallon of gas contains 33.7 kW-hr of energy. Gasoline engine gets 40mpg. You average them together with reasonable cycling between 2 engines and you get 72mpg. People hate this car for reasons that dont exist.
