@drwestbury yes there is ass hole! It's called the Pro Cathedral, and it's in Malborough St.

@drwestbury Not so the Roman Catholic Cathedral in Dublin is St Marys Pro(provisional) Cathedral built in I believe 1832 and is larger than either St Patricks or Christchurch

Why is it that the RC's don't seem to appreciate the great music of the Anglican Catholic Church of England...? Pride or just apathy...?
Thanks for your posts regarding St Mary's. I realise that St Mary's is the RC home of Dublin as I have actually visited there and attended Mass. But by it's very name "Pro-Cathedral" it is not oficially a cathedral as it has never been given that honour by any Pope. They still live in hope though. Yes Don Henri they have an exceptional choir and I have ALL their CDs :)

St Patrick's is Church of Ireland. Hard to believe but there is no RC cathedral in Dublin.
