I'm shocked at all the hostility from Americans towards Cuba, I'm in the UK so remain neutral but I can clearly see that Americans believe anything they're told and are somwhat ignorant in their knowledge and attitudes. But then again they have their value system corrupted by god and capitalism so it's no surprise really.

@shermonruler Castro is no hero, but Cuba was wrecked LONG before Castro took power. His revolution failed. However, according to the laws of the USA Elian had to go home to his biological father. Also, the family that was holding him were just using him as a political tool. They did not know him nor really care for him. If they did, they could have avoided the conflict. The authorities articulated to the family EXACTLY how they were going to enter the house if he was not turned over.

@rfmullig cuba was wrecked but castro made it worse last i heard there is no food and castro's brother is even worse then him.They stormed his house which was not nessacery at all they scared them all. i think clinton was to lazy with himself to actually help and to busy with his secratery to think about what was happening so he sent armed soldiers.

I am sad that my country denied a young boy of his place in America and i am angered it ended how it did and i am more angry how elians father got what he did by selling himself out to the communist leader...But i can't believe that the United States of America would deny anybody thier chance at freedom...Screw you clinton be happy your still alive after all those things you have done
