whatever u do !!! do not bribe the bookseller, that what i did and you cant complete the quest, i have tried many times to find how to do this shit,,, i dont think u can.... my quest tells me that"""i now have book 3 of the mysterium xarxes but i need to find out why the bookeeper had it.""" i need help if anybody has tips to this fuckup. thx

You know, after the guy at the First Edition tells you that Gwinas is coming to get the book, Gwinas appears right outside the door. Go out, follow him back in, then get the book from him there. A lot quicker than this videos stratgegy.

Apparently not, as it didn't happen to me. The first time I played, Gwinas appeared in the shop and I bought for 100 gold. Second time, he was all the way in Anvil. This time, this happened. It seems random.
