@jaemie717 yep, sounds like "Blue Sky" by the Allman Brothers
-
reminds me of Marshall Tucker

Does tht concept work with every pentatonic? like if i had an E Maj chord progression wuld i be able to play in the C# pentatonic so i have an E maj pentatonic?
-
so does that added note on the 13th on B make it a different scale? Or is it just still the G Maj Pentatonic with an added off note?
-
hey Marty have a qn! why do both the major and minor pentatonic stemming from the same root seem to fit into the key? watching this video makes me really curious!
-
I found Marty's site by accident. I have to say he does a great job of braking things down and making it easy to follow.
-
is he playing a specific song in the beginning of the video?
-
Nice way of looking at it, thanks!

Great lesson again Marty.
the 13th fret can be bent a full bend because that note is taken from the Minor scale for those of you wondering. this was the best lesson for the major scale I have seen on youtube.
