Hello ladies I have 2 more technique videos that are way over due!!! I did this technique on Arlene's August GGS Mini Album swap. I have had many requests for this tutorial so here it is...I hope you like it. HUGS Rosanne
@purpledino23 No, the hair dyer blows a lot more air than a heat gun does, which causes the powder to blow off of your project. Also, the hair dyer doesn't produce the kind of heat like the heat tool which melts the powder. I've heard of people in your position that put their projects over a toaster. I would seriously use caution when going that route.
hi you mention that you throw some glitter in your embossing powder... do you throw in embossing glitter or just any normal glitter powder. Can u share what kind of glitter did you use to mix with your UTEE embossing powder??
is it possiable to subsitute a hairdryer for the heat gun? As a teenager i dont really have the money to buy one of those, but i would love to make one of these beautiful butterflies. my mother use to bring me to those stamping up parties and i really just feel in love. i also love finding new crafts. really gorgeous idea and tutorial.
I noticed that you said you take your rubber stamps apart in order to save space...can you tell me how you take them apart and how you make them usable with clear blocks? I love watching your vids - thanks for sharing your ideas!
Roxie, I made your butterfly with the embossing powder, I loved it. Now I was watching your acetate butterfly video, can you tell me where I can buy clear acetate in sheets or something. I live in a very small area and not much choice here. Barb
I really have to buy utee because nowadays I make this technique but I have to put my chipboard piece about 10 times in the powder ! lol thanks for sharing

@purpledino23 Depending on where you live (USA), you can get a heatgun for as cheap as $20.
