  • Hi..

Best way to get one is from a shop where they can show you it feeding, depending how long its been in captivity will depend on wether its feeding ok or not. But never buy one if they cant show you it feeding. Mine fed on both mysis and bloodworm and brine shrimp as well as pods etc within the tank. And aleays switch of pumps powerheads etc to feed as they cant chase the food like other fish can.

  • beautiful scooter! what do you feed him?

  • As comment below. he died about 8 months ago of old age. But I fed him Mysis, brine, bloodworm. He was in a 100g tank for 2 years with 90kg of live rock so he no doubt got a lot of pods too. Probably why he lasted so long. :)

  • I love my blenny!

and stop tapping the glass!! ^^

  • @SprueMaster He was trained to come to the tap for food! Thats why he puts his fin up!..:)

  • Stop tapping the damn tank!!!

  • LOL.. he came to the front when you tapped thats how i made sure he got enough food! He was well trained! lol

  • do you have to train the scooter to eat mysis? i want to get one but my tank is very young and dont think i have any pods to support it

  • lol they are funny to watch when they are moving...theres one a petco and i giggle everytime i see it moving.

  • That's a shame, RIP scooter. I've had to put mine in a breeding net for now as she's not getting enough food in the main aquarium. Ignores the Mysis unless they are floating in front of her nose.
