hi i am going to get a scooter blenny soon i look after my fish i currently have tropical tank and coldwater tank now i am going to get a marine tank to home the scooter blenny and a chalk gobby and maby a hermit crab (small) any info on looking after them i have already done my reasearch but i want a bit more any help please?

do you have to train the scooter to eat mysis? i want to get one but my tank is very young and dont think i have any pods to support it

lol they are funny to watch when they are moving...theres one a petco and i giggle everytime i see it moving.

That's a shame, RIP scooter. I've had to put mine in a breeding net for now as she's not getting enough food in the main aquarium. Ignores the Mysis unless they are floating in front of her nose.

Best way to get one is from a shop where they can show you it feeding, depending how long its been in captivity will depend on wether its feeding ok or not. But never buy one if they cant show you it feeding. Mine fed on both mysis and bloodworm and brine shrimp as well as pods etc within the tank. And aleays switch of pumps powerheads etc to feed as they cant chase the food like other fish can.

As comment below. he died about 8 months ago of old age. But I fed him Mysis, brine, bloodworm. He was in a 100g tank for 2 years with 90kg of live rock so he no doubt got a lot of pods too. Probably why he lasted so long. :)

@SprueMaster He was trained to come to the tap for food! Thats why he puts his fin up!..:)

LOL.. he came to the front when you tapped thats how i made sure he got enough food! He was well trained! lol
