@dofdestiny10 I get mine mail order from sproutpeople (dot com). I find their seeds are really fresh, tons of how-to info, and folks who really love their sprouts. :))
-
@cynmillar I use them in smoothies, soups and blended salads and can't tell they are there. Think that would fool your inner gag thingie? :))

Wow I just bought seeds a week ago wad wasn't sure how to spout them. This is my newest venture. I have my kefir and kombucha brewing every week now its time to experiment with sprouts. I'm so excited

I cant get seeds to sprout in winter due to the temperature. Its just too chilly in the house. So that may be a problem for northern residing folks. Good job Renee.

good job renee and dara. glad to have watched this

you can spray the sprouts with food grade peroxide and it helps to keep the bacteria down
Found out that small seeds like quinoa and sesame seeds only need to be/only should be soaked 20 minutes. Also found that rinsing more often is best, say 3 times a day and even when storing in the frig. rinse to avoid mold. Love sprouts. You guys showed me some options I hadn't thought of. I sprout Adzuki beans, but never did lentils. Putting them to soak right now. Thanks. Love the love in the kitchen. Lynn

@NvrTuLate Oh and just want to say that all seeds, beans etc should be washed/rinsed thouroghly before putting them to soak. Pick out stones, broken-deforemed seeds. beans, etc. There is a lot of "dust" also from storage and packaging. Unfortunately even unprocessed seeds and beans are "processed" at some level and need to be rinsed etc. Thanks again for the great video. Lynn
