Theres a collection of song similarities I observe between some videos games and works of great composers.

  • Also, the Dragon Warrior I overworld theme and the beginning of the 4th movement of Debussy's Suite Bergamasque. Check it out!

  • Also, a part of the Blue Danube Waltz sounds sort of like the water theme from Mario Bros.

  • honestly when you look at the 12 tones on the chromatic scale there's only so many permutations that are possible. Something is bound to repeat every now and then

  • @Hokkaido666 100% of all music is derived from something that has been already before... :D

  • Danophile and Lux - Lux is correct. None of the songs in this video are identical, as far as I can tell. However, that doesn't mean that the video game music wasn't influenced by those particular classical pieces.
