La Noyée - Guitarre de Gambe - Arturo Pedraza

I can't buy a Viole de Gambe, so I've transformed my guitar into a "Guitarre de Gambe"... as many of you should know... the viola da gamba is not an "ancient cello" but a sort of "guitar played with a bow".

So... I improved a little my Guitarre de Gambe, I bought a better rosin, although it's not finished yet (It hasn't yet frets, sorry for the notes out of tune).

I recorded the bass notes of "La Noyée" of Yann Tiersen, from the movie "Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain", and the other voices are played by a midi harpsichord.

I think you were very clever to turn your guitar into a viola da gamba. This recording is much better than the previous one. Congrats!

It would work perfectly if the bridge is raised higher and making a better curved fretboard.I always wanted to actually do this to my old guitar but i got lucky and found a 7 string bass gamba for less than $1000. But i still have all the designs and plans i made before i started the project. But it sounds like you got it down well and only gettin' better.
