  • Y'all have missed the point of this beautiful and sensitive video. The losses are on a personal level and surpasses all politics or reason. I watched this with tears going down my cheeks. Thank you for making this video.

Love, A child of the sixties

  • @banfile7 Thank you for getting it.

  • Pete Seeger was a Communist and never served in the military. Get your head out of your rear end and your facts straight before posting tht kind of tripe.

  • @MrDanBlather Why don't you open your eyes and see what has really been going on if you're old enough? I don't care if Pete Seeger was a Girl Scout to be honest. Do you see Commies peeping out of your wife's blouse?

  • @MrDanBlather "His biographer David Dunaway considers this the first public manifestation of Seeger's decades-long personal dislike of Soviet Communism."

  • The Kingston Trio sang this the best! I used to sing Folk music a lot many years ago and of course sang this one with all of my heart. The words to this song will always be eternal. The message goes on generaton after genration, - with the main thing being: " WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN? " Nobody wins during war as on every side family members and friends cry over the loss of somebody they loved. " OH! ... WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN?"

  • @ITILII

The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind

  • Oh for crying out loud is there not one version of this song sung by Peter, Paul and Mary on all of youtube that isn't played live?????

My apologies to the maker of this video, as it truly is touching and it carries an important message.

  • I feel for you in regards to your loss, Cal - none of have died in vain and none will be forgotten.

  • @MrDanBlather Ok so you have admitted your wrong but young people cant understand anything about nam? It is ok to be wrong and a there is hope for a man that can admit to that.Young people can learn about nam but they need to know the truth and not a lie ok dan lets teach them that. Not something made up that the government wants them to read in a high school history book. To cover their ass.

  • Obviously a lot of the poster posting here were not around in the 60s and early 70s. I'll leave those to their own ignorance's.

  • @MrDanBlather Except the truth is that he served in the army during WWII in the Pacific, first as an airplane mechanic then as an entertainer. You may want to take your own advice.
