I don't understand the complaints about the intro. Every "big" band has intros. Even Immortal, Dimmu, Cradle of Filth....hell, even my last band (local only) used intros. Just makes it a litte more of a show.
I get kind of get it because in small clubs you don't get time to do that & your set.
Maiden has had intros for most (if not all) of their career. Well, maybe you're like me & just want MORE MAIDEN!!! lol!!
Thanks for sharing the footage.

@jazztom86 Yeah you may be right up to a point, I somehow agree with you. It's kinda ironic to have the best live band start with a 2 minute long tape intro. I believe that it should have been omitted from the studio album as well. I usually skipped it, it's quite pointless.

@pizzacastello I guess so, and it was ok, 'til they played some opera intro like on rock in rio or death on the road, but also the intro for Aces High, I never got it why they wouldn't play it live. And the fact that the part of satellite 15 is sung makes it even worse that they play it on tape. I mean, I guess Nicko would have troubles to play that doublebass live, but then they should just leave it away. At least, for my taste.

@jazztom86 most of the bands do so nowadays.

I don't think it's cool at all that they play a fuckin' tape as intro.
