Chapter 1, Part 2

I had just listened to their whole conversation and my parents are so out of this world. I know that they completely heard mine and Josh's kinda arguing conversation because it was normal toned and they were just right there. And I definitely knew they heard Josh's bad comments, but why didn't they say anything? Like "Josh, don't talk like that to your sister" or "Josh, be quiet." However, instead they just let him go out with his friends as if they were approving his "supposedly" good relation with me. "This is so unfair!!" I said to myself kinda mad at them. But I still continued eating my breakfast and as soon as I was done I stood up from my chair and placed the plate in the sink and was heading back to my room. Leaving my dad still reading the newspaper and my mom just starting to eat breakfast and little Emily playing with her cereal.

When I arrived in my room I closed the door from behind and I stood there looking at my room. And Man!! was it a mess.. There were clothes everywhere on the floor, my shoes were thrown around the room without its other pair, and of course my bed was unmade. I started to reminisce back to what was the purpose of all this. I just had a slow memory.

Flashback.
I was lying in my bed, it was around 4pm and I was just thinking of what I wanted to do for my birthday. It was gonna be on June 3rd, and my dad had asked me if I wanted to do anything special. And as usual I said I didn't want anything, and as always he said to think about it. So I considered it, but suddenly....

*ring* *ring* *ring* *ring*
"Ahh!!!! Who is this person who keeps ringing the doorbell?" I questioned myself.
*ring* *ring* *ring*
"I'm guessing nobody was here," I thought to myself and I was right. My parents, Josh, and Emily had left to eat dinner somewhere, and why didn't I go? Hmm..Ohh, yeah...my dad kept asking me if I wanted a party and in the many of times that he asked he inserted the question if I wanted to come with them to eat and I said no. How stupid of me!!!! I just ruined a good opportunity to go eat somewhere, and there was probably good food too. And now I'm stuck answering the door.

I walked down the stairs, opened the door, and guess who I saw?
It was Anna. She came running in my house, got a hold of my wrist, and took me to my room. I think during one point of this "adventure" she said a "hey!" or something, not sure...but then she closed the door behind her. She was one of my best friends so I guess she must think we are family or something since she thinks she can just drag me to my room and enter it.

"Umm..yeah. Make yourself at home," I said sarcastically and kinda confused.
Anna just laughed, "sorry about that, but I have to tell you something."
"What is it?" I asked.
She grabbed a hold of my wrist again. "ohh no.. Not again" I said.
"Don't worry, this time it's not far" she answered so I assumed that she heard my comment. She took me to my window that was next to my bed and she pointed outside.
"What is it?" I asked all confused.
"Don't you see?" she asked over my question.
"Umm..no, hence the question.." I replied.
She looked at me all weird and said, "OMG, too much time in that English class.."
I laughed and said, "What are we looking at again?" while I kept looking back out my window for something that could possibly seem interesting to her.
"Look!!" she said while pointing out, "What do you see?"
"Hmm, I see cars, houses, people, some trees.." I said before she cut me off.
"Stop there," she said.
I just looked at her all confused. "Umm, ok," I replied.
"God, you don't know nothing, do you?" she asked.
"I don't know anything," I replied fixing her wording.
"Forget that...now, LISTEN!!!" she said while rolling her eyes. "You're so lucky, your house has history!!" she continued.
"History?" I said knowing that she was losing me again because I had no idea what she was talking about. "My house?"
She replied, "Well, maybe not your house but the house next to your house."
"Come again," I said.
"Well, as I'm guessing that you didn't know. The Jonas Brothers used to live in that house," she said as she pointed to the white house next door. "And now they're back, they've been gone for like a year and I'm guessing that they're on vacation now, you do know about them, right?" she asked.
I slightly moved my head left to right, and her dark hazel eyes widened as she said, "what?!?!"
"Well, I know that they are a group of brothers and there are 3 of them, but no I never heard any of their songs," I said, "I never got interested in them."
Soon enough her mouth grew wide opened and I'm guessing that she was surprised or something.
