  • Um.... surely the point of calling her a fat bitch and joking that she wants to be a pole dancer is that she's OVERWEIGHT, this girl aint overweight and therefore it loses everything. Alison Jiear was sublime in the role originally and you really cared about her. This performance?? Meh... sorry!

  • that is shit big time give me london production anytime.

  • Alison Jiear made me cry...it was touching...and that's the point of the number.

  • Check out Alison Jiear who performed Shawntel on the West End - her performance will give you chills. A million times better than this actor who really didn't capture the character.

  • was this a professional show? the singing doesnt even begin to compare to the english shows.. and the actress doesn't get the characterisation of shawntel.. this sucks

  • Shawntel isnt supposed to be a slut/whore. she's just called that b/c she poledances. she isnt slutty, she's supposed to be a little scared inside b/c she's not sure if the man she loves accepts her she isn't a whore
