I would say write down how you feel then delete or burn your negative thoughts, hesitation breath refocus. Most of all dont take yourself too serious. Life is too short, if someone hates you, good for them, there just giving someone else a break! peace x

Worst yet is the wasted time and pain involved in figuring out when someone is being "hinty" behind you but quasi-friendly to your face; and, the ensuing erosion of your ability to devote yourself to developing new friendships. As for me,I have generally concluded that such people are afraid "losing something" (eg: position, a belief about themselves). MAYBE you'll have the chance to help them, but until then, leave it up to the universe/god or whatever, and do good deeds in the meantime.

I take comfort in the fact that everyone who doesn't like me is a jerk and a dipwad.

Then I leave five pounds of moistened dog poo at their front door.

Seriously, I recently had to work for a woman who didn't like the way I walked, talked, ate, sounded, smelled, and dressed - although no one else ever had a problem with it. And everything I did on the job was wrong, of course. She said she even hated my email address. That was a tough job ;')
