Six Philly police officers have been shot over the past 5 months. Officer John Pawlowski was shot and killed by Rahsheed Scruggs,33, after being called by a cab driver who was threatened with a gun by Scruggs. Scruggs had a bullett proof vest on and shot at police with a large caliber gun. He also had crack on him. Pawlowski was 25 and had a wife, Kim, who was 2 months pregnant. Killing, and shooting at police in Philly has become very common. We need to keep these scum bags where they belong, jail. They cannot or and not want to be rehabilitated and they obviously have no regard for life. If they will shoot a cop then what chance do we have? Scruggs was shot numerous times and unfortunately survived. He was taken by police, in J Pawlowski's set of handcuffs, to prison after being released from the hospital. Something must be done! Since Pawlowski's murder there have been numerous incidents involving police being shot at and shot . I dont see it getting any better anytime soon. Its a sad state of affairs here in Philly. Peace.
