@w00xer lol youre so dumb, even if you take steroids, you still have to know the technique, he had the most flawless spin technique ever, he still put in the hours or training to get good, steroids dont just get you good, you still have to train......steroids dont get you strong either, they just help you recover faster, i am against steroids but all those great athletes that used them, remember, they still had to put in all those long hours of training to still be technically good....Cheers

yeah but barnes had the most 23m throws and they were at different meets and he won silver and gold medal. so i would have to give to barnes for the number 1 spot and i would put oldfield at or one below timmermann

both of them are consistently far throwers ? Barnes has to comparison to ulf in that department... ulf has the most throws ever over 22m and yea barnes had a 75'9 and a 75'10. If I recall correctly those were at the same meet.... In my oppinion hands down ulf timermann is the greatest shotputter to ever live. I rank Oldfield over barnes btw.

so. barnes threw 2 throws farther then ulf timmermann's PR. Thats what really matter. the big throws and the fact that both throwers are constistently far throwers. but i still give to randy barnes as the greatest shot putter

You made it look as if Carl Myerscough last to Cantwell at NCAA's when Myerscough actually threw 70+ on his last throw to win. But awesome video
