I always liked Jan Hammer's "Crockett's Theme" from the original 80s TV show Miami Vice. Finally, after 25+ years I have been able to nail down a "somewhat" reasonable cover of this song that's been in my head. It's not perfect, but it was fun to compose. "Garageband" is pretty cool...
All clips shown here are actually part of the final soundtrack. The only 2 tracks that I didn't show here (because they were a bit boring) were:
- Main bass (Retro Bass using 2-note arpeggiator)
- Drum machine (Classic Drum Machine) where I used a "shaker" rhythm
