How to make Linguini Pasta with Fried Eggs
Let me know if you made it, or if you want to, or if it looks appetizing? ;]
You'll Need:
-Linguini Pasta [however much you need]
-Eggs [how ever many people you are making it for - i.e. 2 people = 2 eggs]
-Garlic [2 cloves -ish]
-3 table spoons of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
-3 table spoons of butter
-Red Hot Pepper Flakes & Salt [for taste]
-Pot with boiling water, plate, strainer, spoon, pasta stirrer, bowls, etc.
To Prepare:
1) Heat water until boiling
2) Add Linguini, cook for approx. 8 minutes
3) Chop garlic
4) 5 minutes into cooking the pasta, or 3 minutes before done, head EVOO and butter in a pan, then add the chopped garlic
5) Add the eggs to the oil sauce pan thing and DO NOT BREAK THE YOLK. Spoon the oil on top of the eggs [sautéing]
6) Strain the pasta and distribute evenly among bowls
7) Put eggs & oil onto a plate, then cut the egg whites so you have separate pieces.
8) Add pepper flakes & salt & whatever flavoring you like.
9) Put the eggs into the bowls, 1 egg per bowl.
10) Mix the eggs with the pasta, breaking the yolk so that it is the sauce along with the oil.
11) Enjoy! ;]

nomnom looks good. its prob not necessary to cook the yolks much, as long as the whites are cooked through, hopefully with some crispiness on the edges. Also, i'd grate some parmesan on top before serving.
