Here is a simple tutorial on the Two Card Monte, a classic magic trick which you can quickly assemble and perform.

This trick is brought to you by Corporate Magician Josh Norris. For more on Josh visit: http://www.joshnorris.com

Note: If you do not have double face or double back cards, simply glue two cards together ;-)

  • If you watch the actual performance you will see that I am sliding the card as I turn the hand over. In the explanation I decided to keep the technique as simple as possible, showing only the basic method. Have another look at the performance segment. Thanks for the feedback!

  • Right! Explain the slide. It's too fast to be seen and it's too important not to do.

  • DUDES DO U EVEN KNOW WHO JOSH NORRIS IS??

  • why expose this? ...

  • @mismag822 mismag i think you should put the tutorial for this trick for one of your videos (your comment is year old but still do it!) but include the slide in your tutorial

  • oh look i can see the tarbell course behind you, to be fair he is doing what he says, but yes the proper way to do it is to slide the cards as you turn them over that way they change visual perspective aswell, all in all a good tutorial tho, it does what it say on the tin.

  • Why do you have to make a tutorial in Youtube? Can't you just show the performance? Fuck you people ruininng the fun of mystery.

  • hey mismag why dont u show ur face like him plz reply

  • lol awesome mismag u dissed him

  • I did notice that. You say in the tutorial that it requires very little sleight of hand. The "Slide" is very little sleight of hand, and is necessary for the proper effect. Your tutorial requires NO sleight of hand. Your tutorial should explain exactly how you did the trick. Don't withhold the most important part of the illusion otherwise people will FAIL when showing this to others.
