@at0977 They do grow bigger during harvesting. thats not to worry about.. but the early start will reduce the lifespan of the trees, and increase the risk of workers damaging the trees core because the bark is still thin

Yes, I agree, it would have been nice to wait another year or so but, the money per Kg to hard not to grab huh?? I would like to see your farm, I'm setting on mine for at least another year and I'm not far from Boontharik either. tomh5475@yahoo.com

Wow your trees are so thin. Does it grow any bigger? How old are they?

Excuse me but at WHAT AGE of the tree did you let them start... OMG the trees are SO SMALL
you should start at about 6-7 years.. the trees should be 50 cm around the tree at 1 meter hight.. otherwise its like raping the trees!!!

@Reallush We opened the tree when they were ready [condition of tree ] not what some internet site said. 2nd full year of tapping and we produce 2 kilos more than the national average and produce over 2x what most of the locals get. Maybe I have magic fertilizer. There is a bit more to it than just an age and diameter. Clone type, rain fall. canopy size and tapping style.
