  • no air coming from the eyeballs. what could it be? air comes out of the skimmers

  • hard to diagnose without seeing it. could be a bad valve, could be a kink in the line underground. try blowing from the jet to the pump - like the other way. see if same symptom comes from each jet . that way you could narrow it down somewhat. but again, hard to give you advice without being there and doing some more exploratory stuff. my guess would be the valve near the pump though...thanks for watching :o) dan

  • I'm soo gonna mess my pool up....

  • funny :o) dan

  • Can you tell me what kind of "nipple" is on the end of the airline? I can not tell what it looks like. Is there something rubber on the end of it?

  • at the end of the compressor hose is a standard 1/4 inch fitting that you can thread into the drain plug of most pumps to blow out the lines. hope this helps and thanks for watching ! dan

  • i do not know that level of detail on the compressors. you may want to call our office at 702-437-4343 and ask to speak to tim himself, and he may know. i do know that when we had a pool service company in NY, the servicemen mostly used only 1 hp compressors to close pools, and they worked fine. so i am thinking that anything over that will work 4 u. dan

  • I appreciate the feedback. You said get a 2HP or higher. Do you know what CFM is needed to blow out the lines and main drain? I Just noticed all of the compressors have a CFM rating

  • that's because it's a shop vac, not an air compressor. shop vacs do not have enough back-pressure to blow out many pool lines. lowes or home depot definitely has these type of compressors. dan

  • Do they make any like that anymore? Ive been looking everywhere for a portable compressor like that. My 6.5 HP shop vac cant blow the main drain out. Does this compressor you have do them fine all the time?
