Looks to me like somebody got a hold of a tape that wasn't broadcast. They probably made two different versions before the final announcement so they could run the video for whoever won.

@wolfke1979 That makes sense now that I know you're not from the US. Carrie is huge in the US, but not worldwide like Kelly and Jordin are.

@ilovekelly75 Yes Kelly and Jordin Sparks for sure. But I have to be honest, I never heard from Fantasia Barrino, or David Cook. Carrie Underwood sounds familiar. I don't live in the USA, so maybe those three just didn't really make it in Belgium. However I am sure they are very succesful. I'm also taking into consideration how the Belgian Idols have done so far, not that they are that well known Internationally :-)

It has been proven before, the runner up is always more succesfull than the winner. I believe Adam Lambert will be no different. He's an awesome singer!
