very informative!too bad the b.a.t.f.e. has put these illegal tax stamps on these weapons against legal u.s.citizen`s to purchase!i would like to see the 1934 firearms act and hughes amendment repealed!the government doesn`t trust us enough to easily own them(tax stamp, outrageous cost,etc.,etc.).well i don`t trust our government enough to have the power to tell us so!just my two cents!awesome video!thank you!

So the ATF is terrified becouse of that? What about the Kalashnikov series? I got a real close look at a couple of Polish AKM's and conveting a semi auto to full auto was even easier and alot cheaper then the H&K. Do you know anything abot their weiv of them? And while i'm at it thanks for an intresting vid, keep posting please.

@metalsludgexxx Yes you can buy a sear if made before May 1986 but no you can not buy a new made sear unless you are a NFA Dealer.
-
Wait, so I can buy a pre ban auto sear, but you can build a new auto sear from scratch and sell it to me?
-
@C2builder ok thanks man, no one else would answer on the forums haha
-
@warfighter929 I believe I bought the HK33 kit from Apex, I think they still have some. Full-auto control parts and bolts are not restricted, just some distributors remove certain auto parts from the kits as a liability issue incase someone does something stupid.
-
@metalsludgexxx These are new made Post Sales Samples and can only be registered with ATF for other NFA dealers to purchase. Anyone can buy a registered (before 1986) sear but cannot build or make a new sear.
-
@c2builer since i am also a licensed class 2 builder, where did you buy that parts kit that included the full auto fire controls and is it still available with the full auto fire controls?
-
Do the auto sear and trigger gaurd you are using have to be pre 1986 registered or can someone like you build a new one from scratch?
-
@freestylmx311 Yes.
-
This works on the pt 91 and cetme 308's Im assuming as well?
-
@C2builder Is it true that you have to do X amount of business per year to hold this license? I am currently overseas but am moving back home (missouri) next spring and want to get involved in making and trading post dealer samples.
-
@TheAlexagius FFL07 & pay a $500 yr S.O.T. Tax.
-
so what licences would you need to do this legally?
-
You can get the H&K grip/trigger pack housing from Apex Gun Parts for $7.00. They are a Malaysian HK33 contract grip, but will work for the Century C93 with the modification.

@C2builder Next time you come to the LC Civic Center show let me know! I'll be sure to go if I can! PM coming your way.
-
@mikeymike4g63 No don't know Kevin but I have gone to the Lake Charles Civic Center gun show on occation. Yes you are welcome to come shoot at any future MG shoot we have just send me your contact info in a PM. Yeah it sucks that in some states even if you qualify to own NFA items the state laws says different.
-
@C2builder That is absolutely amazing. I envy you! Maybe one day I can come down to Nederland and shoot some of your title 2 weapons! I live near Lake Charles. You know of the c3 dealer out of Baton Rouge called Extreme Weapons (Kevin Rodriguez)? He's always at the gun shows here and a really nice fellow. Bought a Spikes Lower from him. Seems like all the machine gun guys are the coolest and laid back at the shows. Is it hard to get an SBR in Louisiana because you have to register with the DPSC?
-
@mikeymike4g63 Yes, nothing extra needed. In fact C2's don't even need ATF permission to build, we just build what we want and then submit a Form 2 (for C2 only) on the model name given and the serial number assigned. When or if the weapon is sold to another dealer we do a transfer and the new owner gets the database updated to his name. Class 3 dealers do need a demonstration request letter from the police department to purchase a Post Dealer Sample.
Question on the swing-down then, would that be the same concept behind the Kel-Tec PLR16? Does the rule still apply to the pistol classification? There's one pin in the pistol grip, then it swings down from the *upper*. Just bought this firearm, so want to make sure I'm not up shit creek.

@webdesigner33 Not sure on that configuration, call ATF Tech Branch and ask...seriously, there is no harm in asking and they will not raid your house like other say. They are the tech guys that help make the NFA Rulings.

So if the full auto pack and the swing down count as full auto does that mean pre 86 mp5s with swing down require 2 tax stamps?
TheAlexagius 2 months ago
@TheAlexagius It's usually just the reciever that is registered since the hole for the swing down is part of the reciever. If it is a Post '86 I have always seen the trigger pack the registered part. Really depends on how the gun was registered in the first place.

@C2builder The vector arms version has the hole drilled in the receiver for the pin wouldnt that make it illegal. My local gunstore sells them, he dissasembled one for me to show me, they also come with a full auto bolt carrier.
Thanks

@TheCmitchell16 I know that Vector uses the FA bolt carrier, calling the gun "sear ready" for NFA approved people to add the sear but I didn't know they drilled the hole. I'll check into that. Thanks.
