@Ectotherm LOL....I recently bought a cheap $250 Ibanez 40% off at guitar center.
Thing sounds **AMAZING** I pump it through boss distortion pedal to an electric-ACOUSTIC amp with high treble, high mid settings.
Thing screams I think my neighbors starting to hate me - now if only I can play like Paul maybe we can change this.

I just got like 500 Paul Gilbert points for recognizing the opening riff from the hidden track "Maseito" that plays after "Keep On Keepin' On" (off of the Burning Organ record)! :p
