  • 4b is my favorite hair texture, It holds so nicely in twist and cornrows, which are great styles for natural hair. This is my hair texture and when I do twist I get lots and lots of fullness to the point you can barely see my scalp, it full and beautifully coily especially when you add vegetable glycerin...whoa the style is the bomb!! You do very very nice work, her hair is gorgeous!!

  • Hi brinny776,

Thanks so much for your comment! I appreciate it :-) I will try to put out some more twist videos... I think it's important for others to know what twists look like on our different types of natural hair. Thanks again and happy twisting!

  • I have a question for you :) I'm thinking about doing twist as well but do you recommend blow drying the hair out or just letting it air dry? Thank You in Advance :)

  • Well it depends on the look that you want and what texture your hair is currently. If you have naturally coily hair but want sleek looking twists (like on relaxed hair), then you could blow dry straight or airdry over the course of a day or so. If your hair is damaged in any way or already chemically processed, then it's not advisable to blow dry. The less heat you use, the better ;-) Hope this helps!

  • Thank You again :) that did help me make a decision! I'll just let my hair air dry and do the twist :)

  • You're welcome :-)

  • Okay, I'm glad you said this because after looking at a lot of twist videos I was starting to notice different results depending on curl type and texture. I was getting a little frustrated because I was wondering why my twist kept coming out different. I have 4a/4b hair and I always get a crinkly look after taking mines out rather than a deep wave look. Now I'm just trying to master keeping the frizz down after separating them.

  • Thank you! It was flattering working on a model's hair :-)

  • Lovely Video with a beautiful model.Nice work Bessie

  • Hey Bunmi! You're very welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed them! I loved working with your hair texture, so it was a fun session for me :-) I hope to be doing more twists sessions at the start of the new year!
