@Ghanapedia thank you for the reply. Wow, I am fascinated because I never left the country before.

@206kent - possibly for a gallon, not a litre, even though most stations sell it by the litre. I just fill up every time.

I live in America (Houston, TX). I would like to visit one day

@MysticOcean2007 - hey, I wish I lived that close, Ghana would be around a 10-12 hour flight. From Australia, the quickest way I've found is via Singapore-Cairo, and equates to 23 hours of flying, and more than $3500.
I hope you get on a flight to Ghana soon, I understand that Delta fly out of Dulles, and United also fly here. I think the three US airports that have flights are NY, Washington DC, and LA.

Wow you really need transportation there.

@Djoanng - definitely, I am in Ghana now, and my car is getting the engine repaired at the moment, and I am probably spending about 50ghc a day on transport by the time I travel from my base near Tema to places like TQ Circle, Achimota, and Osu by taxi. Usually I am travelling with baggage, golf clubs, or my shopping, so tro-tros are not a good idea.
Hopefully I get a damage report from the garage today that is favourable, not excessive !
