ONE POT CHEF COOKBOOK - NOW AVAILABLE:
http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/one-pot-chef-kitchen-companion/16675027

READ THIS: PROBLEMS WITH YOUR ICE CREAM OR WHICH CREAM TO USE?

Use any cream suitable for whipping (the kind of cream you would use if you were making whipped cream from a dessert) - and yes, you do need to use cream. You cannot substitute it - that's why its called ICE CREAM! ;)

PLEASE NOTE: This is a HOME MADE version of ice cream. It does not contain the "anti-freeze" additives that shop bought ice cream has. When you take the ice cream out of the freezer, it will be solid (like ice) - simply leave the ice cream out of the freezer for 10-15 minutes to soften and then serve ;)

  • when you say "use fresh cream..." Do you mean light whipping cream, heavy whipping cream, or table cream? That's what they have in the Shoprite supermarkets, around my neighborhood. - Philadelphia, PA, U.S

  • @ladysoy Heavy Whipping Cream works best, but any cream suitable for whipping will work ;)

  • Would homo milk work in substitution for the cream and 2% milk for the regular milk? its all I have right now :$

  • @stellarbeauty05 You need to use cream ;)

  • is light cream okay?

  • @won0131 You can use any cream suitable for whipping ;)

  • @mattoni007 yes. i used a cup (200ml) or 3,5% Milk, and a cup of cream (30% fat). it did not work. now i experimented a bit, and just used cream and NO milk. works much better.

  • I like the way you talk so nice :)

  • @blankita1525 crema, si lo q estas pensando

  • you are awesome man! im going to use fresh coconut, yeah!

  • @ploetzlich30 Did you use full fat milk?

  • Love your cooking btw is so simple and delicious.

  • Ps. turmeric will give it a yellow, golden color instead of beige, lil pleasure for the eyes.

  • I recommend to put in dark chocolate bits turned in rum, walnuts, bananas and turmeric, sugar, vanilla and the rest you did. Thanks for the idea.
