Blue Road is must-have collection for even the casual fan. The CD element of the combo-pack features some of the group's best known selections taken from a show-stopping acoustic set the band performed earlier this year at Toronto's venerable Massey Hall.

The accompanying DVD features a "Bootleg" visual companion to that same set.

The pièce de résistance of the release is an hour-long documentary from which the package's name is derived. It portrays the band members in an intimate and unguarded light - at Greg's farm, relaxing, in rehearsal, and jamming on a number of cover tunes. It also takes the viewer on tour, backstage and behind-the-scenes.

  • AHHHH the story of my life!!!

  • used to sing this to my ex's daughter about her little brown dog..with much different lyrics but you get the picture...I agree, the lighter shade of pale version sounds AMAZING

  • First time hearing it..long time fan...Blue Rodeo does it again..thank-you for the video and song...K

  • I remember them doing this song at a much slower tempo in a show at the Royal York hotel in Toronto. I actually prefer that version- it suits the lyrics better.

  • I believe we all could relate to this song, it's one of many of my favorite songs by them!!!!!

  • Fantastic rendition and harmony! Love the way Keelor cranks out the tune! Feel the shear emotion, Jim's back-up is subtle yet shattering. Thanks for posting.
