Intel WiMax car at CES

Is this clearwire?

It is ClearWire. However, it really seems to work for the demonstration of the car. However, everyone I know with Clearwire WiMax can rarely get service, which is why they have a policy in Vegas if you cant get it to work for more than 5 consecutive days they refund all your money, even for their crappy USB's. Clearwire is a nightmare in Las Vegas!

for all the LTE lovers show it to me right now not 2 years from now the same with LTE wimax is the next G4 with or without cellphones
when cellphones will be called netbooks you will find a wimax in it

This is the Awesome. I am totally expecting Wimax to rescue me from the internetless hell that is rural America!

if you now what 3G is, then this is 3G on steroids. 3G was not meant for Video, WiMAX will be bigger bandwidth and will basically replace DSL for many users and allow them to use the broadband beyond their current limitation of using it within the home.

Surely thats putting some bad waves in the air that gives people living near an exchange some medical issues.

great job with demoing WiMAX. This is really good to give an idea to people what WiMAX is all about..
