No movie - sorry! Just a compilation of photos from the fifties, with a few jazzy people! Weary Blues - KEN COLYER JAZZMEN.

Photos include my time in the RAF, the TA Band and family skiffle groups etc.

  • If anyone ever sounded like Bunk it was the early Collyer. Just an aside. When at Leeds Uni about 1954 or 55 I had a group and a very bearded slide TB Eddie O'Donnell (I think?) played with us when not with Collyer. A boozer. Filled a beer bottle with urine and gave it to one of the guys. I was a teetotaller TG.

  • I went to see Ken play at the City Hall, Leeds, when I was a teenager.

  • I just bought a machine (£120 in PC World) to put my LPs onto the PC via a USB lead (supplied) so watch out for more KC - sadly no video!

  • Yes - The line-up is right at the end of the video.

  • You've got Vogue L.D.E. 161, and some other classics! There's a chap who knows his jazz.
