The Governor General of Canada is the representative of Her Majesty the Queen of Canada. Canada is an independent nation with Queen Elizabeth II as Head of State. It is no longer a colony or dominion of Britain. QEII serves as Canada's Head of State independently from being Queen of the UK and it's Head of State.

Her Excellency the Governor General is from Haiti, but became a Canadian citizen long ago.

I had the misfortune of knowing David Johnston at University of Waterloo. When David Johnston was appointed there, I thought he'd be good, but I was extremely wrong. I believe David Johnston was the worst university president imaginable. David Johnston will be a horrible governor general & is the last person who should have been appointed to this position. All Canadians should be extremely ashamed to have David Johnston as governor general.

If the 'governer general of Canada' is suppose to be upholding our nation's 'British heritiage' then, why doesn't Ms. Michaelle Jean speak either english or french -as a 'first language' - a 'native language'.

Goverment Employees have Much better rights and benefits and Much better Labour standards acts than the public acts.

House negros lived better than field negros :to make sure the field negros did the work needed, and didnt upset the master !

Injured workers may not have gotten HUMAN RIGHTS under the old slavery System

if it cost the House Negros extra out of the budgeted amounts for the slaves, there may be less for them out of the profits !
