  • Hey jake,,

I have a few doubts, really hope u can help me out here.. Firstly what's the 'audio in' function for ? What can you connect to it? And secondly, is it portable? Or does the dock have to constantly be connected to a power source? Does it have a rechargeable battery or can you use normal double AA battery's if you wana use it without a power source? Thanks loads..

  • @cooltash901 The audio in function, to be honest confuses me. I'm guessing it is some kind of input for non-iPod sources, such as MP3 players and such. I haven't been able to successfully get anything to work, so your guess is my guess. As for the portability factor, this machine isn't what you're looking for. It needs to be plugged in at all times, and doesn't run off batteries. The speakers simply wouldn't last on batteries alone. Hope this helps! It's a great system if stationary!

  • How about the lcd brightness? I think it will be too much bright during night time.

    Perhaps there's dim light function?

  • The LCD brightness is not a problem for me, and you can also adjust the level of brightness if it is to much for you.

  • Thanks for your review, Jake. I've been reading iphone clock radio reviews for the past week and this one was near the top of my list. You've sold me on it.

I do have one small criticism though - would it have hurt you to clean it before filming? It's putrid! (and no I'm not your mother!)

  • Yeah- I do suppose it was a bit dusty. In person you can't see the dust at all, but I guess it is a bit more evident on camera. Thanks for the positive feedback!

  • I have a different model. Whats the name of the app required to play music on it?

  • Could you still dock the ipod with a thin case on it ?

  • Good review! However, you have a terrible hang-nail!

  • Doesn't the remote have a volume control buttons.

  • I got this for $12 from value village. I recommend it.

  • @tombrtly93 but good review :)

  • you forgot to mention the brightness:: you click the snooze/brightness button, it doesnt go totally dark so youll have to cover it at night otherwise it lights up the room

also the circular knob at the back when you twist it the square panel at the front moves forward and that stops the ipod from breaking , i think thats all you forgot

  • hi there, i got this last month, i plugged in my itouch 4th gen first and it worked for a while and tried to stick it in last week but it wont click into it.
