Watch the writers of Robot Chicken play a little D&D! When Dan Milano, Zeb Wells, Tom Root, Doug Goldstein, and Kevin Schinick headed into Undermountain, the dice and the cameras were rolling....

  • @sithdl76 I still think it depends on the DM. We picked up a game that was let sit idle for a couple of months and there was NO combat what-so-ever. We played for about 4-5 hours and it was all roleplaying. We had a great time. There were several D20 rolls involved, but again...no combat. We were awarded XP by asking the right questions and getting information our of people. Very enjoyable. Next session will have combat, but this past one was very much building the story. Great times indeed!

  • Can't believe that roleplay argument again. The difference between 3rd and 4th ed. is in combat system, not roleplay. Also, these guys are first level. you can see that 4e first level is way better than 3rd. Finally, the arcane ballista is a addition by the DM, not a 4e rule.

And about FR, it was about time they downsize the powers of the NPC's.

  • which version do they paly?

  • why is it that there is some crazy shit on the sidebar when im just trying to watch some d&d

  • @oliviasdaddy1, i think he meant what level are their characters

  • doesn't every noob think that 00 = zero?

  • @TheOtakuChicago Level one given that their attacks are no more than 8 vs. AC.

  • what level are they playing at

  • Two points, Bluebell is the drow ranger not the wizard. Two Jaundace did cast ONE spell. But your main point is still valid. The runes aren't going anywhere.

  • @dragy148816 I imagine their thinking, not that I necessarily agree, was that they were locked into the final encounter now and would be constantly fighting stuff till the end so the sooner he could disable the runes the better. But yeah, he definitely should have laid down more damage before starting on them.

It's fitting that the guy who started shoveling gold into his pockets is being blood-sucked to death though, hasn't he ever seen an Indiana Jones movie?

  • @WagerET They did take a break for food at like part 8 or something and Steel diamond at one point did take a bathroom break. It's called editing. Not trying to offend.

  • @WagerET No, I think most people can survive even longer than 3 and 1/2 hours without food.
