  • i know this may sound stupid but for the all the times ive been attempting to produce haha ive never figured out what tracking means so what is it?

  • @FreestyleLilWayne Tracking is when you record it into you daw, such as protools or logic or etc, your audio from your drum maschine, synth , guitar or whatever would show up as a wave when you record it into the computer. That way you can mix you tracks and edit them or whatever you want to do with them.

  • I track Analog, Yes I tried them all, Im always trying something LOL, But im doing it analog, Im still searching for a way to keep the MPC sound quality to stay phat, and not thinning out. Im using a digi 003, everyone says use a Apogee esemble, They say it a difference, but I be saying to myself that it cant be that much of a difference, I dont think that it will be a $2000.00 difference of the apogee cost, Im still trying to figure out what im going to do in this matter,

  • What up dude!.... Are you playing your guitar and bass through your mpc 4k or through a pre-amp? And if so, are you routing it through record on the 4k, whats the process.......

  • @kewl44 I am playing the bass through the preamp. I had already tracked the mpc earlier to save some video time.

I just make sure protools is set to the same tempo of the MPC. Sometimes I have protools master the mpc and some times I just dump the mpc into protools and have the grid set to bar and then just line the wave up for a perfect loop.

  • Nice video slimmivy... some of the best on Youtube!!!

  • Thanks for the time you take making all your videos... a few questions... what method do you use to dump tracks from the MPC to your DAW, analog, digital or ADAT? Have you tried them all?

  • Very nice...FM7 and FM8 are my favorite SYNTH plugins..

they have soooo many sounds & more you can create yourself...

  • Working that damn Pro Tools...thats wassup...you ever run into latency issues? You must have a super fucking fast computer...

  • Amp that up with some Punk(rock) Guitar and some funky bass.

  • nice tutorial, should be on HD
