This is how i remember Ted Hawkins, seeing him on a crate on Venice Beach in 1990 when i spent time out there. I remember seeing people walking at a normal pace, then slowing down to a stop as they got closer, just mesmerized by this man and his soulful voice.I did find a VHS tape in a video store a few years later and found out that he had passed away. Rest in Peace Ted, you brought joy to so many.Thanks for sharing bernardablain.
