and the problem with that is that a court ruled that the job of law the enforcement is purely to uphold the law, as opposed to serve and protect the citizens. It's that sort of stupid thing that makes these situations happen, and that allow rich people to do whatever they like because there are loopholes and common sense has no place.

the problem is, laws really only do what you want them to do, it doesn't matter what laws you have, it's how you use them. the well known example of this is the Nazis who to do everything they did, only changed one important law regarding the construction of motorways.
They don't necessarily need to change the law, they just need to not be retarded about how they use it.
