I have a 3002. the GPU is crap, the CPU is crap, the memory is crap...

except the GPU, I upgraded it, to a Turion 64 ML-34, and 1GB DDR400 ram

Prja There is a lot Of notebook wich have 17" inch display and more If You want You can check the acer aspire 6930g and Sony vaio 17" Also the Acer Aspire 8930g wich have A 18'4 Inch screen ;) hope it helped

Im using a Aspire 3002, which basicly sucks in comparison to this, since it has 256mb ram by default, a 40gig HDD, and integrated graphics. Im glad I upgraded RAM to 768mb
