S- I-I'm Stephanie Marie J-J-Jonas. [I kept stuttering. I couldn't help it! I was finally talking to my brothers for the first time in 9 years! As soon as I said my name, they looked shocked! They looked like someone had just kicked them in the stomach, or in Joe's case, messed with his hair. He loved his hair. When we were little he would spend 25 minutes making sure his hair was perfect...and he had it short back then! I couldn't possibly imagine now.] Aren't you guys going to say anything?
J- How do you know about her?
S- Because I am her Joey Bologna!
J- What did you call me?
S- Joey Bologna. I gave you that nickname when we were little! I called you Joey Bologna. Kevin is Keevo and Nick is Nickster! I'm your sister, Messy Stephy! I'm not lieing you guys. What more do I have to do for you guys to believe me? [By this time I was trying to force my tears back, but some were escaping. Nick lunged towards me and engulfed me in a warm hug. That part of me that had been empty all these years felt like it was finally being filled again. Of course that the part of my heart that had been filled by my adoptive dad (A/N- remember he died when she was 11) would still be empty, but maybe, just maybe my real family would be able to help me through it.] Do you believe me Nick?
N- Actually... I almost do, but there's one thing that will really win me over.
S- What is it?
N- Our sister had a birthmark on the palm of her left hand. If you are really our sister then you should be able to show us that same birthmark. (A/N- yes, i actually do have a birthmark on my left palm.)
S- Okay. [I turned over my left hand and held it up to show my birthmark. Joe was squinting. He had always had problems with his eyesight. To make it easier on him I took a step closer and put my hand about 2 inches from his face so he could see. When he finally did his jaw dropped and he sttarted to jump up and down like a little kid.]
J- It's her! It's her! Look! Look! It's her! AHHHH!!!!!!!!
K- Yes Joseph we aren't blind! Now stop jumping or you're going to go on timeout.
J- Fine meany head!
S- [I laughed at them.] It's nice to see you guys never changed.
N- Actually I think Joe became an even bigger pain in the a-butt.
S- [I giggled and hugged Nick.] Same old Nick.
J- Ohhhh can I get a hug too? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I didn't change eider!
S- Okay Joey, you can get a hug too. [I hugged Jor tightly and then pulled away an looked at Kevin, whom was looking at the ground.] What about you Keevo? Don't I get a hug from you?
K- I'm sorry, but a simple birthmark won't cut it for me.
S- [My heart felt like Kevin had torn it from my body and stomped on it. Tears were soon flooding my eyes while I tried my hardest to keep them from overflowing.] Then, what will?
K- If you are really her, then you should know.
S- I'm not a freaking mind reader! It's not as if I have something on me right this second to prove it! Wait! I do! [Of course I had something to prove it to Kevin! God I can be really stupid at times. It's not like I ever take it off. No matter how much Aaron has begged me in the past month. I lowered my Aeropostale tee a little to show my gold locket.] Is this proof enough?
K- That's the locket.
S- Yep. The very same locket you gave me on my 6th birthday inside of a silver box with my name written out at the top in purple. The same locket that has a picture of you and me and of our family. The same locket that is inscribed on the back. The same locket that could have given away my secr- [before I even finished my sentence I was already being lifted into the air and spun around by Kevin.]
K- IT REALLY IS YOU! YOU'RE BACK!
S- [giggles] Of course it is silly! [we sat in the sand and talked for almost an hour.]
J- So what do you think of my hair now?
S- I still think it's weird, just like I did back then.
J- [he smirked at me.] Oh really?
S- [I got a little scared. Joe hates when people criticize his hair. I hope he doesn't hurt me... or worse tickle me! My thoughts were caught off by Joe tackleing me and tickling me. I burst into immediate laughter. I couldn't help it! I'm very ticklish and Joe knows it.] *in between laughter* Joe...please...stop!
J- What do you think of my hair?
S- That it's weird.
J- I don't think I heard you correctly.
S- [I knew I had to make Joe stop one way or another. I couldn't let him reach my ribs. I couldn't let them know the truth. The only people that really know what goes on are Aaron and Noah and they are sworn to secrecy. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't feel Joe go higher. he reached my ribs and I yelped.] Owwwwwwwwww!
[Joe quickly pulled away confused. and concerned. All of my brothers looked concerned. I shifted my eyes to Aaron who looked sad. I knew why he was sad. It was the reason why I yelped like that. Aaron truly wants to help me, but because he swore he wouldn't tell he just can't. The only reason why Aaron even knew was by accident.]
