I love Joel Schumacher and most of his movies. I liked batman I watched it when I was young and still enjoy it. Joel could have made the movie darker however he was under pressure to make it " child" friendly so that they could make toys to sell to children which they did and I owned when I was a kid. If you don't think he can make dark films then watch 8mm! He is great and most of you are just haters!
