This is another place the Aber lads visited in sept 2004.
It looks like the inhabitants of Bodie only left yesterday, and left everything behind.

It is amazing that it is in such good condition.Doesn't it suffer from vandalism?Are there any pictures of it when it was a thriving town?

Why this city is so organized? There's security there? I can't imagine how the people didn't stole the houses stuff. If I was there and has no security I would steal nothing, but it's sure that I would play that pool, open the trunk, try to turn on the truck, try to put gas in my car with that bomb, dress the coat in the house, poop in the restroom, try to find some unfinished beer at the bar, sleep like a king in different houses for a week, infinity possibilities!

I know you will have a great time.
Its worth buying a guide book when you first go in as it will give you info on all the houses and the people who lived in them.

Man you were right!! I loved Bodie and it was great to see the photo's you had taken there. I kept thinking "hey, there's that shot."
