Among the questions posed: Is it possible to surf someone to death? Is the psychokiller-to-goody goody ratio in our society really 10 to one? Why do great directors so love to play with shadows and light? Does Bruce Dern totally rule? Or merely dominate? Am I ever gonna loosen up with the serial killer movies and apocalypse movies and just chill the hell out?
