Photographing an eye is now easy with digital cameras. Dr. Roberto Kaplan leads you through the simple steps of using a digital still camera or video. Then cropping and scaling the size in a photo program.

  • Simple and comprehensive .Thank you good job.

  • Thank you. I am pleased you found it helpful

  • Thank you, this is a very simple and comprehensive method, even for those who are technologically shy!

  • Thank you, great video! I finally managed to take some good pictures of my eyes.

One more thing I found useful: the flash washed out my eyes, and without flash the pictures would either be grainy (high ISO) or blurry (long exposure). Putting a piece of paper over the flash diffused it just enough to get great pictures. :)

  • Not bad. I've been wanting to do something like this..

It is a little bit of trouble to get an in-focus picture. In fact I've yet to manage one, but I think the settings you set up here have made me come a little bit closer to getting a good picture. Though I think I may want to set up my tripod and try it with that...

    Thanks.
